A bottle of champagne manufactured by Mumm in Reims, France and used in the official opening of the Musée Héritage Museum on 31 May 1984. The green coloured glass bottle with five paper labels on it.

A commemorative 1979 Alberta Summer Games metal lapel pin manufactured in Taiwan. The pin is painted gold on the reverse and enameled white on the front. Painted on the front is the emblem of the Alberta Summer Games in red; and in black and gold the Father Albert Lacombe Chapel.

An extra large 1979 Alberta Summer Games light blue, short sleeve jersey machine knitted 100% cotton t-shirt manufactured by Flying Horse in China, circa 1979. There is a red, black and green screen-printed Albert a Summer Games logo on the centre of the shirt featuring a torch, a laurel, a red rose and Father Lacombe's Chapel. The manufacturer label featured the printed image of a flying horse.

ARCHIVAL COLLECTIONS A souvenir program for Alberta Summer Games held in St. Albert, 1979, produced by the City of St. Albert. The program is in booklet form, 46 pages made of some glossy paper with black lettering and coloured illustrations. The front cover is black and white with a coloured illustration of athletes doing various sports, plus an illustration of the Father Lacombe Museum. Inside the booklet there are several advertisements. On page 3 there is a message by Mayor Ronald Harvey. On page 5 there is a message by Premier Peter Lougheed. On page 7 there are messages from the Minister for Parks and Recreation Peter Trynchy, and one from the Minister Responsible for Culture Mary J. LeMessurier. On page 8 there is a message from the Alberta Games Council. On page 9 there is a message from Richard Fowler, Chairman, Summer Games Society. On page 11 is a list of the Board of directors (photos). ARCHIVAL COLLECTIONS An official souvenir book of the papal mass at Namao on Monday, September 17, 1984 published by the Alberta Papal Visit Secretariat, Edmonton, Alberta, 1984. Pamphlet contains various information about the Pope, plus several photos. Front cover is white with blue and gold lettering, with a coloured illustration of the Pope. It has a $2.00 sticker at the top right hand corner. On the back cover there is a coloured photograph of the Pope by Arturo Mari. The pamphlet contains 32 pages. On page 4 there is an illustration of Father Lacombe's chapel, and one of Father Lacombe trying to bring peace between the Crees and the Blackfeet. On the center pages there is a map of the site at Namao.

ARCHIVAL COLLECTIONS A brown 1986 calendar published by the Musée Héritage Museum and printed by St. Albert Printing. The Celebrate 125 anniversary logo is on the cover, as is a sketch by Danny Burns. Inside are historical photographs opposite each month of the year. Photos include the first town council, the Father Lacombe Chapel, the St. Albert Hotel, the Perron Brickyard, and townscapes. A list of travelling exhibits is also included.

TRANSFERRED TO ATOM (ARCHIVAL COLLECTIONS) A two side colour paper Calagary '88 Winter Olympic Torch Relay poster. The same images appear on both sides with the distinction that the information is printed in English on one side and in french on the other. The images consist of a boy and a man in cowboy hats at the top, grain elevators on the left hand side, a torch runner in the centre with a police car behind him and an audience waving Canadian flags on either side of the car. There are Celebration '88 and Olympic Torch logos at the bottom of the page.

A commemorative Olympic Torch Relay candle manufactured by Newville Industries, 1987-1988. a) A white wax candle. b) A red plastic cup which is attached to the upper part of the candle. The candle slides through a hole in the bottom of the cup and is gripped by inward slanting teeth which extend upwards around the rim of the hole. The cup the printed image of a torch flame, the Olympic Torch Relay logo, the Olympic Rings and a snowflake.

A rectangular nylon Calgary 1988 Winter Olympics Torch Relay flag manufactured in Mississauga, Ontario circa 1987. The flag has a royal purple background and white Olympic Torch and Snowflake emblems. There is a white border on the left or hoist side. The flag has a white synthetic cord and white plastic toggle with the cord secured to toggle by a metal band. The flag has a small white label featuring a maple leaf.

ARCHIVAL COLLECTIONS A T120 colour video tape manufactured by BASF featuring a recording of the St. Albert Homecoming events on July 28 to August 1 1988 recorded by Ed Savoie. a) A chrome extra quality black VHS tape that has a six and half hour running time. The tape has a cardboard sleever featuring a white sticker from Zeller Department Store that indicates the tape cost $8.99 to purchase.

The original vhs tape was digitized in April 2016. The digitized files are on 3 DVDs, labelled Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 & 4. These are located on the same shelf as the tape. Digitized files are also on local museum storage drives.

TRANSFERRED TO ATOM (ARCHIVAL COLLECTIONS) A colour Dynamicron L-750 Beta video tape manufactured by Sony in the United States, 1980s. a) The tape features a 20-minute video of the Olympic Flame Ceremony held in St. Albert on February 10, 1988 outside of St. Albert Place. The tape has a running time of 4 hours 30 minutes. b) The tape has a white, black, orange and dark pink cardboard sleeve. The video tape recording features Master of Ceremonies: Jim Hunter, a choir of PetroCan choral singers and an 80-year old Torch carrier; a 101-year old carried it later in the day.

Both the original beta and vhs tapes were digitized in April 2016. The digitized files are on 2 DVDs that are located on the same shelf as the tapes. Digitized files are also on local museum storage drives.

TRANSFERRED TO ATOM ARCHIVAL COLLECTIONS A cardboard phonograph record sleeve cover for a Jack McCreath record produced for the 1979 Alberta Summer Games and Festival. The front cover of the record has coloured sketches of Father Lacombe, two tipees on a green surface, the head and shoulders of a First Nations individual in full headdress, and a seated schoolmarm. Printed on the top right corner is the the logo of the City of St. Albert and the 1979 Alberta Summer Games. On the reverse there is a list of the recordings, a brief St. Albert history by the St. Albert Historical Society, a photo of the artist Jack McCreath, a brief history of the artist as well as the names of the producer of the record, the musicians, singers, and other credits. The front of the cover is covered with the signatures of cast members from a 1979 production of the 'Pioneerin' Spirit' play in St. Albert.

Two duplicate round metal Festival '80 buttons made in Canada. The buttons are printed on a white plastic background with a yellow and black logo that is a stylized illustration of a smiling sun. A logo for the Province of Alberta 75th anniversary is printed on the buttons as well.
